New Strange had the opportunity to collaborate with celebrity stylist Alize Demange to evolve her initial concept into a fully realised fashion youtube format. As well being Executive Producer for the ongoing series, the team are also responsible for all aspects of audio recording and mixing.
Yolanthe Fawehinmi, a journalist at PA Media, approached us to launch a podcast dedicated to empowering young, black writers. Together, we refined the concept, provided Yolanthe with bespoke training for her podcasting debut, composed bespoke theme music, and continue to support the realisation of her vision as producers of the show.
We partnered with Whisper TV to launch the "Formula For Success" podcast just in time for the 2023 F1 season. New Strange records, edits, and distributes, also serving as the podcast’s Executive Producer, advising on presenting, production, growth, marketing, and monetisation.
We teamed up with We Are Grape on an innovative Twitch series. Hosted by Girls Don't Sync, the show had exclusive interviews, a viewer-controlled interactive set, and dance music-inspired features. Drawing from British TV classics like Big Breakfast and TFI Friday, it injected Friday nights with energy, celebrating the UK dance scene on Twitch.
We've consistently supported the High Performance Podcast team as their brand has expanded. Over the past two years, we've managed numerous episode recordings, show edits, and acted as Executive Producers for this globally renowned, chart-topping self-improvement podcast hosted by Jake Humphrey and Damian Hughes.
We hosted a full-day live streaming workshop for our friends at ColorsxStudio, engaging 15 team members from around the world. We educated, inspired, and shaped the new live extension of their brand from both a creative and technical perspective. Phase 1 features a 24-hour Youtube live stream highlighting a curated program of Colors shows.
We developed and produced 'Are You Well?', a daily comedy podcast, in partnership with the hugely successful #AccidentalPartridge Twitter account. Featuring Derek 'Tommo' Thompson as the host, our very own Alan Partridge incarnate, this collaboration also provided an opportunity to create some amazing viral social content.
We teamed up with long-term collaborator Julie Adenuga to produce 'Top 5 Replies', a spin-off of the YouTube hit 'Julie’s Top 5'. Featuring Mista Alvin, the series deepens the dialogue between viewers and creators, building on the interactive foundation of the original show while taking digs at Maya Jama’s singing abilities.
We produced an 8-ep podcast hosted by Jamie Laing and former England Rugby captain Chris Robshaw. We contributed to planning, recording, and editing, with PR company Romans leading the project. The collaboration with Wiggle & suicide prevention charity CALM raised awareness about Post Marathon Blues.
Radio presenter and voiceover artist Jay McGregor approached New Strange with the vision of creating a YouTube series that would highlight a new side of her presenting skills. Together we crafted the 'Jay's Sports Day' concept, and offered ongoing support as Executive Producers throughout the pilot season.
New Strange produced "Joe's Pub Night," a weekly comedy Twitch show on the TwoDotTV channel. Hosted by presenter and journalist Joe Walker, the series featured green screen pub settings, banter with viewers, interactive crosswords, virtual dog race betting, and karaoke.
We partnered with The Romans PR Company and TikTok influencer Max Balegde to produce a branded content series for Extra Gum. This short-run podcast offered a fresh take on guided meditation. Through Max's playful and carefree approach, listeners were guided through "chewitations," providing a moment of calm amidst daily pressures.
New Strange collaborated with The Romans to produce "Mindful Mouthful," a short-run podcast for Uber Eats. Hosted by Roman Kemp, the podcast offered a pre-delivery meditation to enhance the eating experience. Scripted by mindfulness coach Luke Doherty, listeners can unwind while waiting for their order, embracing the art of doing less.
